“Leigh reverts to the style of writing that characterized the first books in the series, i.e. the sex scenes overshadow the plot.
More information is provided about the first Breed but this part of the series arc is not sufficiently developed. There are too many potential threats to Harmony and once a villain is narrowed down, he turns out to be lackluster and does not constitute a real danger. There is no real build up of tension and suspense.
Lance is a great character but Harmony is very difficult to identify with.
Hopefully, the next one will be an improvement. ”
