“The first 100 pages were pretty slow for me. I liked Bryony and Leo's story however it wasn't as strong as the Tremaine's in Private Arrangement. ”

Road romances aren't my favorite, but this one, involving as it does a Muslim uprising against the British in India/Pakistan was historically interesting. ”“I didn't like it much.It was an 'OK' book ! the story line is good..but it was a little boring to read.”

“another dud for sherry thomas. i like the story lines but the writing has no umph! there is nothing to make you want to turn the page except the hope that it will get more interesting if you just keep reading, which is really disapionting because the plot sounds original and exciting when you read the back cover. ”

I am normally not a fan books were the couple goes on some adventure and face danger, and I avoid 'war stories' if I can. I like heavy emotional books that make me laugh and cry. This book might just change my mind! An amazing story, both well written and planned out. You find the details in the book help the story instead of over whelm it. The passion alone in this book would make it hot, but the story makes you wish it lasted another 100 pages! Leo can drag me out of India any day!”
