Sad I am to state that being a huge fan of Bradbury for over 50 years, I have to say that this is not a very good novel. What might have been an effective chapter in his classic Dandelion Wine has been blown into an novella that has neither the poetry or the insight of the orignal. Luckily he has so much other wonderful writing to be remebered for this will soon be forgotten.
