"Peace Breaks Out" is not a sequel or a prequel to "A Separate Peace". Set in the same school only a couple years after the events in "Separate Peace", "Peace Breaks Out" tells another coming-of-age story of Devonians. As in "Separate Peace" it explores the evil of the human heart surrounded by the foolishness of adolescence. Despite the many similarities they have I think both books stand apart from each other. "Peace Breaks Out" is not a recycled version of "A Separate Peace" as people...
