“I bought the original version of this and enjoy looking at it on my book shelf and occasionally opening to a random page and reading, but I haven't mustered the willpower or time to dive into this yet. Please convince or encourage me that it's worth it.”

I try to re-read this book every few years, and find new nuances each time. A timeless classic on semiotics, language theory, chaos, paradox, fuzzy logic, metamathematics and music. If you haven't read this book, or Mr. Hofstadter's other works, you haven't really lived.”
