I read it when I was about 18, and what a great impact it had on me! For a few years afterwards it was my favorite of all times :). But I think that the stories of love and death are always ever so fascinating to a teenage mind. I guess I'll have to read it again to see if it's really as great as I remember, or it was just the right book at the right time for me back then...
