Actually, I have the wrong picture for the book I have I have a hardback anniversary edition. This book is in the John Steinbeck Americana fashion. I loved everything about this book...it was perfect.

Wonderfully written classic story about a young girl and her family in the South before segregation. It's about family values, neighborhood values, honesty, standing up for what you believe in and how one can change things a step at a time.
