  • Danielle Runyon (Dani): She is the main character in the book. She is described as a tomboy and is looking for a summer boyfriend-her options, the Ragland baseball players. You see, she's never had a boyfriend, but her and her best friend really want one.
  • Barbara Sawyer (Bird): She is Dani's BFF in the book. She is also looking for a summer boyfriend and eventually finds one.
  • Jason: He stays with Dani's family during the summer of baseball season. He's supposed to be muscular, but not too muscular, has black hair and really blue eyes. Sounds realllyyy cute (:
  • Todd (Mac): He's called Mac and stays with Bird's family during the summer. He's described as short, but is basically the leader of the whole team. He goes out with Dani-for awhile anyways- but eventually falls for Tiffany.
  • Tiffany Runyon: She's Miss Ragland, almost Queen Ragland. She does good deeds for the city-mainly because she's Miss Ragland. She's Dani's older sister and is about to go to college.
  • Brandon: Dani's best friend, Bird, has ger eye on ths guy. They end up haveing amazing chemistry and are lovey-dovey in no time.
  • Bird: Dani's best friend. Both looking for a boy!
  • Alan: A Baseball player.
