I think this will always be my all time favorite book. It's message is timeless. It's characters endure. It offers one of the best role models for fatherhood in all of literature in the character of Atticus Finch.

This story takes place in Maycomb, Alabama and is told during the time of The Depression. Atticus Finch, a lawyer, agrees to defend Tom Robinson, a black man accused of raping a young white woman. During the trial, Atticus presents much evidents proving Tom's innocence, but even with such evidence, the racist jury convicts him.

This book is a controverial book because of the content and language used. I think this book can be used to show the detriments of racism within a society. After reading this book, I will conduct a group discussion where we will discuss the negatives impact racism has on our society today.

Great classic about a lawyer who takes on a very unpopular client in the town. Very good! --Karen Arlettaz Zemek, author of "My Funny Dad, Harry"

This wasn't a bad book at all. Its a very touching story. You have to read it at least once.

This is in my top two favorite books. The character of Atticus Finch makes me want to be a better person. He stood up for what he believe in, even though it wasn't the norm. He was also a great example to his children. We need more people like him.

One of my all time favorite books and the movie even did it justice. Loved seeing it reappear in Philip Seymour Hoffman's "Capote" movie.
