I am in love with Virginia Woolf. Orlando is absolutely fabulous; it's a witty literary joke that you can't help but sink into.

i understand how transitory the flow of the story should be for reasons of unconventionality. however, the rest of its outlandishness boggled the sh*t out of me. in its early phases, i found VW's attention do details pretty much worth countless praises. in the last chapter, however, it occurred to me that it had grown relentlessly harrowing. on top of all these, i find the character's life uneventful. yeah, she leaps through centuries, over genders, and maybe even between identities, but...
