“I've been a fan of Inspector Lynley on TV for a while, and have started to read the books. I won't ruin this with a spoiler, so...The plot is full of red herrings and plenty of plot twists to keep you guessing what is going to happen. Not much turns out like I expected it to. There were some real surprises. I think I may begin at the beginning and read the series. Mysteries are my escape books.”

The violence of the crimes was a little upsetting, but to be expected with this kind of book. Some of the characters were really interesting. There were enough unexpected twists to keep me glued to the end.”
