“i love this book ”

The Van Alen Legacy, the fourth installment in the Blue Bloods series, is by far the best book so far. It was full of so many shocking surprises and twists that I never could have expected. I thought the end of the last book was a shocker but this book held many more.
The story starts off a year after the end of Revelations and it really just takes off from the very first page. It's told in three points of view, those of Schuyler, Mimi, and Bliss. Right from the beginning I learned so many things that really came out of nowhere and completely changed what I thought of some of the characters. It was definitely a case of not judging a book by it's cover. I saw sides of Mimi and Bliss that I didn't even know they had and it changed everything I thought I knew.
I don't think I'm really going to say anything else. I want to do the book justice and I think that the best way I can do that is by letting you read it for yourself. Full of mystery, suspense, action and romance, I think the fourth book really appeals to all readers. The only complaint I have is the long wait for the next book! ”
“Once again, so easily sucked (no pun intended) right back into the lives of Mimi, Jack, Bliss, Oliver and Schuyler as if you never left. A vampire series that IMHO leaves the 'other' one truly in the dust (get it).
Conclaves, Blue bloods, Red Bloods, Silver Bloods- keep them straight- the story of the Fall of Heaven, Arch Angels and Lucifer, Roman Emperors and the meaning of unconsecrated churches, bonding, Gatekeepers and Gates to Hell...whew, what a story! Who thinks of this stuff?- well, she does I know. But what a wild ride.
Once again, I guess you could be "happy" with the ending, or riveted to know that it does leave a trail of a promise for another. Honestly, can't leave Mimi and Jack in the state they are in.”
“Kind of slow, like the other books.”

Blue Blood Schuyler Van Alen and her Conduit, Oliver Hazard-Perry, are on the run.
Her grandfather has just been murdered by the Silver Bloods, but the Conclave thinks she did it. Their last hope is to ask the European Conclave for refuge and aid as she tries to fight the demon that killed her grandfather and is looking to maybe get her next.
Meanwhile, her best friend, Bliss Llewellyn, in is the Hamptons, where her body has been taken over by an unknown spirit she calls "The Visitor."
Mimi Force is flying around the world, looking for Bliss's sister, Jordan, who is actually The Watcher, an age-old Blue Blood who keeps a lookout for the fallen angel, Lucifer.
Old love brings Schuyler back to New York along with Mimi as Bliss fights to overcome her mysterious Visitor. But in the end, they must all come together to fight the Silver Bloods when they return with a vengeance.
I really enjoyed this installment of the BLUE BLOODS series. Seeing the characters mature and change along with their relationships was so satisfying. We also learn a lot about the history of the Blue Bloods and the Croatan betrayal, which all ties into real history, which was really interesting.
Overall, this was a great read, and I can't wait for the next one!”
“I enjoyed her writing, but had a difficult time with some of the analogies drawn in the book. ”

I can not wait for the next book to finally reveal all of the secrets. Van Allen Legacy leaves you wanting more because it just hangs off at the end. I am so happy that Schuyler and Jack are finally together but I feel sorry for Mimi. I am so shocked to find that Schuyler and Bliss's mother Alegre has finally awoken from her coma. That was truly shocking.”
