OMG - Truly one of my most favorite HRN ever. As always Henley weaves brilliant characters into a story with depth and history that make her books so hard to put down. This is probably one of the top 5 of her novels, no doubt. It dabbles in royalty, brushes in India and travel abroad, and brings the reader home to London and the ton of multi-faceted and multi-flawed characters that the reader can easily identify with. I will read this novel again for certain!

A++
