A great study on interaction strategies with different personalities in any environment. Green and Jackson also tackle the science of politics, momentum, philosophy, and power. I highly recommend reading this book.

Not your typical management/self help book. It walks you through the life of 50 Cent, from a hustler in the hood, to being the owner of a successful record label. The undertone of the book is showing how fear affects us, and how to use fear to your advantage.

My favorite quote from the book, "When people don’t respond to what you do, they’re telling you something loud and clear. You’re just not listening."

Friend Matt Maule says this is worth reading. All about eliminating the outsized fear we modern humans have of most everything. Traditionally we feared only beasts of prey and marauding tribes. We have supplemented that with new fears of career failure and passed-due library books. Time to reset our compass. Truth is I'm also reading this because my #3 son has been a fan of 50-cent for years - and this rap icon is co-author with Bob Greene.

I would recommend Robert Greene's other books before this one, but if you've read Seduction and the 48 Laws Of Power, you'll enjoy this one. I put this on my reading list so you can appreciate I that I read a wide range of books - not all listed here, since the list would surpass 1,000. I include this one because of it's different POINT OF VIEW - one of a gangster rapper within a well established framework - POWER. Power is at the core of what gangster rappers are after - very few achieve REAL POWER and fewer still achieve it and SURVIVE. This entertaining book explains why 50 cent has survived this long and will probably live to be an old wise man... Unless some thug who's too dumb to read gets to him... Time will tell, but at least 50 Cent's mindset, perspective and viewpoint has been captured via and with Michael Green's immense contribution and collaboration. This is a book you want to read AFTER the 48 Laws Of Power, not before or instead of. Seduction is a great book, but unrelated to this one - same author, different subject.

Great insight into applied human conditions: I read the book within a business context. Would enjoy discussing with interested parties.

Great addition to this author's series. Very interesting collaboration with the artist 50 Cent that gave it a unique take on living without fear. Well worth the read. If you haven't read the Laws of Power or Strategies of War get those immediately as well.

A lot can be learned by looking deeply into a persons life, to be honest, I didnt imagine that 50 cent has went through all of these experiences to achieve what he has achieved up to date, whether what appeared forth in this book is true or not, some important lessons are to be learned about people personalities in general. On the other hand, the author tended to jam a lot of virtues into the experience of 50 cent, though I am not undermining this experience, its clear that a lot of ideas have been presented about fear, doubt, disbelief, mortality, ambition and alot of other concepts to distinguish the 50 cent career, which was really unfocused to the extent that the same experience and events in 50 cents life was repeated and formed to match specific concepts in the mind of the author, the author also tended unrationaly to undermine these experiences by bringing up some other famous examples from Sun Tzu, Machiavelli and some other famous figures which cant be compared head to head with the experiences of 50 cent.
