I enjoyed this book better than the first ("Murder on Nob Hill") right up until ending, the mystery's conclusion, which, to me, seemed melodramatic and unbelievable...the courtroom scene where the killer pours out its soul (I don't want to reveal the culprit if you haven't read the book, so I will use the "it" pronoun) while Sarah is trying to conduct her interigation while under the influence of poison. Yikes!
