    We kept this book for a long time and i started to read it and when i came to the part when he came to the island it started to get better!

    I discovered this book when I was homeschooling my boys. It quickly became one of our favorites. I've used it in many elementary classrooms as a read-aloud, with enlarged maps and related math problems.
