“Very entertaining. Hilarious debacles throughout the whole thing. ”Luisa M wrote this review Friday, April 20, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“The Archangel audio production, full-cast recording, is AMAZING!! David Tennant, Brendan Coyle, and many others portray this wonderful play to its fullest. Listen to it, or read it, it's one of my favorite plays by the bard. ”Hannah K wrote this review Sunday, April 8, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“"Comedy of Errors" is one of the best works of Shakespeare. Reminds me of "Midsummer Night's Dream" but with the difference that here there are no supernatural beings and magic potions. Personally, I much enjoyed reading this book.”Daniel B wrote this review Wednesday, February 29, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“Comedy of errors is a book of comedy, romance, and complete and utter confusion. Typical Shakespeare puns and a fun way of confusing even the reader.
When two twin brother's and their twin servants are separated to different, and enemy, lands, life becomes a mad dash when they run into each other unknowingly. With lots and hitting and a large amount of confusion, this tale brings lots of comedy but a good amount of wits as well.
I adore this book because of the clever plot line and creative reasons for confusion. I love how impulsive the two Antipholus' are and how enraged the Dromios' become at everything. I love the effect just one visit from your brother can have on things, because it really can go a lot of comedic ways. I enjoy the plot line and how things all come together in the end, clearing any confusion the reader or characters had, and of course, I love the culture of the entire book. What's classier then Shakespeare?
What I truly dislike about this book is really nothing. I'm a large fan of William's and I don't have anything bad tos ay. The only problem other's could have is the language, because it really is hard to understand unless you read shakespeare everyday like I do, being a nerd of high stature. Truly, a great book.
In conclusion, this play really is one of the greatest I have read. The mixture of comedic essence with typical human mistakes paired with the tragedy of a broken family can capture a reader and also make them laugh.

“Comical, quirky story, not Shakespeare's best play by far, but not bad at all. An interesting read.”David S wrote this review Saturday, November 13, 2010. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
