Big disappointment, after Snobbery, which I really liked. This one is a complete self-indulgent vanity work by a usually very funny guy. The book alternates between pointless erudition and mind-numbing personal accounts. At one point, the author actually lists a minute by minute account of a weekday morning - excruciating. (Plus, I had hoped that the book might help provide some insight into why I have a hard time making friends, and it was useless for that.)
