The friend who introduced me to these books asked me who I liked better - Rachel or Darcy? That is a pretty interesting discussion question! Anyone care to comment?
I actually like Darcy better. She showed a lot more growth in her story. To listen to Darcy's point of view, I felt a little more sympathy towards her. In actuality she wasn't a mean spirited person, she just needed some guidance and tell her what's what (the people around her in the beginning just encouraged her.) Her life changed drastically in this book and for the better.
I liked Rachel better. I related to her a lot more. Minus the whole affair aspect. Darcy reminded me too much of an old friend and I just was not happy that she got a HEA. While I did enjoy Something Blue, it's not a reread for me.
I have not read Something Borrowed or Something Blue yet. I plan on it though. Is it necessary to read one before the other?
Yeah, I would highly suggest you read Something Borrowed first, the two books kind of tie in together in order to understand the character and exactly what has happened. Something blue is sort of a continuation of Something Borrowed.
Thank you for the suggestion!
I read Something Blue first without knowing that there was another one. I dont necessarily think you havr to read in order. Anyone?
I loved this book and you must read Something Borrowed!
Both are page turners and you will be glued to the book!
Great fun book, I think we all have friends like that. For my LDS friends, this one does have some swearing and sex so be for warned.
It was pretty good. After reading "borrowed" I was anxious to hear Rachel's side of the whole thing. I wanted to hear about their wedding and their baby....but it was pretty good I guess
loved this one! it is a cute easy read. could not put it down, wanted to know what was going to happen next. its a chick book.
I picked this book just for a school project, and i thought that i was going to breeze through it, but in the middle of the first chapter i got hooked. I couldn't put the book down, it was a real page turner. I loved it!
Is there a sequel to Something Blue, or is this the last book?
