“Nothing like the massive Leckie tomes about the Civil War, Revolutionary War and World War II. They are outstanding overviews that cover seemingly every important person and event. No real depth of detail is provided, and this is vanilla overview writing, but Leckie keeps it interesting throughout. I have appreciated the broad base of information he provides in his books. Great reference materials to have on hand.”
