“This is a really gorgeous read. Gibbons takes the same story of a marriage and splits it, chapter by chapter in the husbands words and then the wife's words. What I loved was that Gibbons does not warn you of that, and you read it and actually have to reread the first few chapters again once you figure that out. It discusses how they met, and how they fell in love, and the heartbreaks and victories of their tiny microcosm of marriage. There are some highly quotable sentences in here. They...”

“Sorry, I didn't really like this book. I wasn't that interested in the characters and what was going on. Because of the way the book was written, it was hard to get involved in their story.”
