I really liked all the needlework talk in this book and there is a cross-stitch pattern at the end of the book you can do.   “It was a nice holiday cozy with fibery goodness at its center. This was my first exposure to this cozy series, but I figured it would be okay to skip ahead a bit just to see if I'd like the other books. I think I'll keep this series in the back of my head when going to the library.”
