This book was recommended to me by a friend. The jacket flap enticed me with promises of murder, mystery and intrigue. However, I guess that wasn't enough. Early on I made a decision to just keep going until page 100 and then decide if I was to read the rest. The plot finally started getting interesting, but then lost it's focus and seemed to ramble on through the rest of the book. It's hard to care about or at times even like any the characters.
