“This book's title really says it when it describes rabbits as misunderstood. Most people don't see rabbits for what they actually are. Maybe you think of them as an animal that is cute but rather boring and stupid. However, this book helps to show that they can be as intelligent as a dog or cat, and it almost made me cry when it told about how they are slaughtered by the millions and used in labs. Since I have a house rabbit, the stories on pet house rabbits touched me and helped me to understand my house rabbit. I have always known that rabbits, like other animals, have feelings, but I didn't know before I read this just what emotional creatures they are. I'm giving the overall book four stars because I didn't approve of some of the symbolism or details they went into though.”
