Cast of Characters/Important People

  • Dru Anderson: The main character and a kick-butt heroine. She is not very quick to trust, but with the life she's lived, you can't help but sympathize with her.
  • Dru's Dad: A monster hunter who drags his daughter from town to town every couple of months. He keeps to himself and is bent on killing what goes bump in the night.
  • Dru's Mom: A woman who is dead throughout the entire book, but stays in it because of a secret she kept from her daughter. She meant a lot to Dru, though she died when her daughter was only 5.
  • Gran: Dru's grandmother and her dad's mother. She died, but comes to Dru in the form of an owl, helping Dru as she tries to discover who she is and what killed her father. She was crazy in life, but extremely wise in her reincarnation.
  • Graves: Dru's friend. After a run-in with a werewulf, he is 'changed' a little and sets out to help Dru survive the everyday hell that has become her life. He is very sweet, takes things well, and is the most dependable person. This guy is the best!
  • Christophe Reynard: A partial vampire who helps Dru.
  • Sergej: The villain of the story
