Well-written, exciting. I like the ending that doesn't reveal a whole lot of nonsense about the archaeological focus. Way to keep it mysterious!

    Interesting idea, and my first Du Brul book. He has some nice ideas, but please, fire your editor. Calling the city of Beirut "Beriut" and "Beiriut" throughout the book makes the author look bad, not to mention the "Infitata" (sic).
