Though I actually expected more suspense, that didn't seem to happen much until the end. Of course, that didn't make it easier to put down throughout. This was a great story about love, but there are three love stories in this book: the main story between Kelly and Tom, an old love story happening in the heart of WWII, and a sweet young love story with Tom's neice, Mallory. I thought both Kelly and Tom were wonderful characters. I've heard such wonderful things about this series and have found most of the backlist from the ubs, so I am going to go through those whenever I don't have a new release to read. :) I can't wait to get more into this series and see where it takes me!”

Reading the editorial review brings back lots of good memories, though, and that it was gripping, satisfying.”

I've yet to read a book of hers that didn't move me. And the SEALs? Yummy! The Troubleshooter series is so much more involved and detailed than the Tall, Dark and Dangerous series. It definitely pulls you in and makes you a part of Brockmann's world. Her writing style is funny, fast-paced, and, shall I say, ass-kicking. Her characters are endearingly strong if a tad tortured. I loved it!”

Tom is a romanctic lead like few others. And this novel introduces us to Brockmann's unique storytelling style as well as several charcters we see of the course of the series.”
