Twain's story of creation and the fall is humorous, sweet, and personal. Eve is curious, relational, ever-desiring of Adam's attention and affection. Adam is a bit put out having her around, especially after her aquaintance with a certain snake gets them tossed out of the estate. Needless to say, he warms to her later. I love this short, quirky book.

This is some of the best American humor. I laughed from the first sentence to the final full stop.

One of the first satirists, Twain is probably the greatest American writer. Even the most cynical and Comedy Central brainwashed would enjoy many of the one liners in this book.
