“Beetle requested this book this evening. It's been a long time since I read this. Despite it not being Halloween season, it is still a fun read. At four, Beetle was able to pick up the repetition and enjoyed it each time.

A little old lady goes for a walk and encounters various clothing. Humorously it all comes together. This is a fun story.”
“This rating is based on the fact that for 2 years now, regardless of the time of year, my kids have me (or now on their own) read this book, The repetitions are fun and helpful for emergent readers. They love to recite it along with me and can pretend they are reading it until they suddenly really ARE reading it!”

“This is such a cute book! I use it for my music classes and make a big Halloween activity out of it...with a different instrument (ie. drums, egg shakers, etc.) for each repeated sound. The kids get a kick out of it, and it's something too look forward to every year.”
