  “I suggest tihs book for a general writing reference essential. Hacker has a few different writing guides, but this one is my favorite. I like the organization the best. She addresses MLA formatting the most, with a little bit on APA, too, and some minor attention to the other formats. If you want AP, you should get the AP style guide. Other helpful features of this book include surprisingly good attention to how to structure a good paragraph or draft a decent thesis. I find it highly accessible, compared to similar types of books out there. Plus, Hacker has an excellent online component to the text that lets you do graded exercises for further practice.”
