Love all Palmer books. This story is about Marc Brannon's (from TEXAS RANGER)sister. Gretchen goes on a holiday with her best friend Maggie. They end up in Morocco. Maggis is supposed to go to work for the shiekh of Qwai. Her brother is in a terrible accident in Texas and she has to go back. Gretchen decides to pretend she is Maggie and take the job. Her conscience bothers her and when she meets a prominent businessman in Tangiers, she tells him her problem. Unbeknownst to her, he is the shiekh. Great story. Reminds me of DESERT SONG, a Gordon MacRae movie in the 50s
