a great story of self awareness and development, a young gal growing up in america realizes the difficulties of those surrounding her and understands that life as an adult will not be anything like the sheltered american childhood, themes have great depth and consequences are illustrated, stressful at times and character grows out of her naive childhood through a series of events that show her human nature
