“This book isn't the best in the series, but it is a must read. You can't simply skip it and move on.
I love the characters, although they do have some almost unbelievable traits.
While it is another vampire book, it feels different. The Hendees stay true to a lot that is inherent in vampires, but they give it their own feel with the world they have created.”

“This entire series is average. The writing isn't bad, but it isn't good. The characters are not quite believable as written, which is unfortunate, because the story has solid bones.”
