Pretty lame story. Might be sensational cause it deals with with the President's family and controversy. A true story of the same caliber would have sky rocketed to top of the best seller book shelf

I have read almost all of his books. He is one of my favorite adult authors. This one is about the president's staff families being kidnapped. It was good and suspenseful.

The story dwelt with a man caught up in hatred for what happened to his daughter (rape, botched abortion, life-support machines) He spends a life time plotting revenge against the rapist, who actually is now the president of the USA. (a bit far-fetched with the journalists of today digging up every last tidbit of a politician's life) This man, Sam, constructs a death-trap house, kidnaps the president's niece and contacts the First Lady with instructions for the safe return of the niece. The secret service, the FBI, are stumped, but Sean King and Michelle, his partner are summed by the First Lady to help in this matter.

Found this entertaining but not as much a page turner as I had hoped. Found the story a little unbelievable.
