Issue 1 of this comic was my first foray into Conan and I've become addicted to the character since. Kurt Busiek did a fantastic job of capturing the spirit of Robert E. Howard's work more than any other comic book writer who made the attempt. Cary Nord's art paints a vivid, violent panorama that does the stories justice. I cannot recommend this series enough. This is a must read for any Robert E. Howard fan.
