I really liked this book, but something that dissapointed me was the ending! I think Ted Dekker ended it way to soon, I would love it if he wrote a sequle about what happend to them after they get out of the game. I want to know what happened to the people who got killed and what happens to the people that ran the program, and was there any other "games" such as "skin" that were going on and what were they about. What I liked most about the book was how you never knew who the bad guy was and he threw in a swirl at the end that you would have never guessed! Ted Dekker is by far amazing even if he doesnt completly satisfy me with his way of ending Skin. I love how he just keeps the whole book on a cliff hanger!

I must say this book is amazing. I loved every part of it, EXCEPT THE ENDING! I hated the ending! Made me just wanna throw the book across the room. It left me asking so many questions because of how many possible killers there were. But the book has it's moments. Such as all the murder scenes. I'm a big fan of murder/suspense books, and Ted Dekker does great with this genre, so I really enjoyed this book.

I had never really read a book like this and I had never read a book by Ted Dekker. I like his style of writing but he makes it very confusing by switching back and forth from character to character in every chapter. It gets kind of annoying...but another thing was that it got VERY boring and talked about the same thing all the time. Ted Dekker, as a writer in general, was not bad for that being the first book by him that I've read. I think I will just have to try a different book written by this author...

Another freaky book. Only not SO freaky when you finally read the end. But still weird.

A wicked read! This is the first I've read by Dekker, but it is one awesome book! The ending will shock you beyond your imagination! This is one you gotta read!

I have mixed feelings about this book, which is why I gave it 3 stars. This is actually the first Ted Dekker book I've read, so I can't compare it to his other works. Probably the one thing that disappointed me was that I expected (at least by the end) some kind of Christian principles of good and evil to be made clearer and they weren't. What principles I did see expressed reminded me more of what I might discover in an allegorical book. However, I did find the story itself interesting enough that I HAD to keep reading to see what in the world might happen next in this "crazy" story and how it would all be resolved. I found the ending interesting but only partially satisfying.

Action packed from beginning to the end! Lots of twists! Had me guessing at every turn of the page. I read this in 2 days, I could not put it down!

Woohoo! Ted Dekker never fails when it comes to delivering suspense. Skin was a gripping read from the very beginning. I totally loved it. Though you have to like books that make you think, because if you don't keep your thoughts straight, especially towards the end, it can get a bit confusing. The last page leaves some definite questions, but without making the story feel unresolved. I highly reccommend it!

I actually read the whole book but the ending was a let down for me. I was expecting the concept of good and evil to be more clear from a Godly aspect and not how it was at the end of the book.

This book was very disappointing for me. It was hard to stay with it. And it had virtually no reference to Christ. Very disappointing...Dekker has written some very good books...but to sell this as a Christian Fiction is a little misleading.
