“I couldn't get OBSESSED with this book. Seemed a bit monotonous with Friedman's endless attempts at getting to the mysterious stones in the basement safe. As a result, I lost interest in the book. Some of the scenarios seemed a bit unrealistic. When Friedman was found rummaging in Braun's home, I'm surprised they didn't blow Friedman's head off. Needed a bit more to the story other than Friedman's vain attempts at getting to the Stones of David in the basement. Some of the characters were not well developed. Lots of women of the Bible's name that I easily got lost with. Lots of Esthers, Rachels, Rebeccas, etc.”

“Not much of a good book if you ask me. Doesn't fit the tastes of Dekker, but if you liked Kiss, you might like this.”

“Listened to the audio CD while on vacation. Fair Really on 2.5 stars. There wasn't very much to take away from the story. And some repetition grew tiresome.”

“This book was really good, but it wasn't a very satisfying read, I recommend it, but, I don't know...I just wasn't very satisfied or stimulated after I finshed it. I mean, I was satisfied, but about certian things in the book and not in the book I wasn't satisfied, things that I wish would happen. ”

“Ted Dekker always dives into the toughest topics with abandon. A hard read because of the topic, but well worthwhile and a thrilling ride from start to finish. All the ingredients of a ripping good novel, and with the most amazing parallels for Kingdom lliving as well. Phew!”
