Obsessed was a very enjoyable novel packed with suspense. I liked how the Stones of David were incorporated into a fantastic storyline and I also liked all of the crazy things that Stephen tried in order to fool Roth to try to retrieve the stones. Ted Dekker uses fantastic suspense combined with terrific cliffhangars at the end of chapters.

I never really got into the story. The protagonist felt disconnected and what lengths he went to felt ridiculous and extreem. And for what? Well I won't say but the reveal is anticlimactic and made me feel all the more dissatisfied.
