I definitely think this is the best book yet in the series! I have always enjoyed these stories, but in this book the writing seems to have improved immensely. Also the storyline was a lot more exciting and action oriented, whereas the previous books tended to have a lot of monologues. An amazing conclusion to the series!

Very sad to know it was the last in the Series, but it left you hanging like there could be a future Anton and the crew.

In a similar vein to the other books. I liked that it was set partly in Edinburgh, though it could have done more to evoke the atmospheric setting of this city. Perhaps the author hadn't been there in the evening when the damp, eerie Haar creeps along the cobbled streets, causing the buidings to loom out of the gloom, and ringing the streetlights in a halo of murky light!!
Why also do I get the feeling that the series isn't finished yet??

The best thing about this book, besides all the rest, is that the title is misleading! I look forward to reading more of the adventures of Anton and the Night Watch!

excellent addition to the series. The author is playing with the changes made to the books in the movies and really enjoying himself. FIY X-files is universal.

As good, if not better than, the previous three! I was a little interested to see how the character Anton would be after the previous novel, but the author did a fantastic job with him.

The last of four, this one is a lot more like the first of the series - in my opinion, a good thing. A good ending to the series that leaves room for more without leaving the plot open.

Loved it, just like the first 3 from the (so far) quadrilogy.
Warning: This particular edition has a flaw: Chapter 5 of part 3 is missing. (according to the editors, only small batches of the edition are flawed, but be warned in case you buy it on the internet ...).

Will be back with a decent review soon, when I am eloquent enough to do it justice. :)
But I deffinitelly recommend the whole "Watch" series ...
