SUMMARY: When the Archbishop-designate of Canterbury is found dead in his chambers in the Lateran Palace and the priceless artifacts he has brought as gifts to the Pope missing, Sister Fidelma of the Irish church and Brother Eadulf of the Saxon church are charged with solving the crime. COMMENTS: Another good mystery in a series that gets better with each story.
