• George: George is the main character in this book. He spends most of his time with Annie and Cosmos, the supercomputer.
• Annie: Annie is George's best friend, her father, Eric, is a very intillegent space scientist.
• Eric: Eric is Annie's father. He is a space scientist who invented Cosmos with Dr. Reeper and their teacher.
• Emmett: Emmett is a boy who never had any friends and comes to stay in Annie's house during his holidays. He is a whizz with computers and it seems he has a super-computer's brain.
• Dr Reeper: Dr. Reeper is the brainy villain with a pretty upsetting life, who is banned from science because of Eric, Annie's father although they were once friends.
• Mabel: Mabel is George's grandmother who likes to pretend to be deaf towards adults comes to look after George while his mother and father are on a mission to save the sinking Pacific islands.
• Susan: Susan is Annie's mother who is a patient and loving person.
• Gran: Annie's grandmother.
• Terence: George's father and a very brave and adventurous eco-warrior who almost got lost when he was traveling on a boat in the Pacific.
• Daisy: George's mother works as an eco-warrior along with her husband, Terence who is also George's father.
