About the Author

Elton B. Sherwin, Jr., is a successful venture capitalist and the managing director of Ridgewood Capital in Palo Alto, California. Mr. Sherwin invests in Internet start-ups, often co-investing with angel investors. Prior to joining Ridgewood, he ran the Silicon Valley office of Motorola Ventures.
