Bad book. Didn't learn anyhing.
Moreover, the author suggest to forget about old/bad browsers such as IE6/IE7 when the market clearly shows that this can't be done right now.

Interresting ideas about page layout but maybe too late since HTML5 is knocking at the door.

CSS is evolving, for sure. It comes closer to what want to do on the web.

Unfortunately with very many users with non-standard browsers, like IE7, we just can't use the new techniques.

I tested some of the smart CSS in the book in Firefox. Whau! :) And then in IE7. Shit! :(

We'll soon read free articles covering the same subjects on the web, but the book is ok - like most from Sitepoint.
