This is one of my favorites in the series. It documents the metamorphosis of Morpheus from a near cold hearted bastard to someone more compassionate. He learns from his brother, Destruction the value of change. From his sister, Delerium, he learns how his actions impact others, and from his son, Orpheus he learns the compassion of a father.

One of my personal favourites in the Sandman series. I just love Delirium.

The Sandman series only gets better, and I view "Brief Lives" as one of the best books I've ready in a long time. The scope is both narrow and far-reaching, and we find out much more about Dream's inner workings and thoughts than we knew before. Quality.

Dream and Delirium set out to find their lost brother Destruction. A bunch of people die because he doesn't want to be found.

This is by far my favorite among the Sandman series. Well, up until now, I've only read up to this book.. but in the 7 books, this is the best so far. It features mostly Dream and Delirium and their journey to find their brother, Destruction. Dream finally closes the open-ended relationship he has with his son Orpheous.

I think this is the best TPB volume of Sandman. Delirium convinces Morpheus to help her find their wayward brother Destruction. Delirium's presence throughout the story alters the nature of reality and the artwork in really clever ways; it also gives a happier-than-usual mood to the proceedings. A great portion of a great series.
