“Perhaps one of the oddest little books I've read. Maybe ever. I'm giving this a 4-star because I'm pretty sure I'll remember it for a very very long time.
It felt like this should've been a film script - and in Neil Gaiman's forward he even suggests it should be made into a movie a la Shrek - and I can totally see it. If you like historical fantasy novels with a modern overtone this might be the one for you.”
