“I did like the notations about suggested music as the soundtrack throughout the book. Very cool. I feel like I understood where this book was trying to go but that it just didn't quite get there. The concept is very interesting. It's very choppy and disconnected and for me, the lack of any kind of flow was very distracting from the story line. The ending left me going... really? That's the end? Hmmm... well, OK. Like watching a movie where the credits start to roll and you sit there thinking, "I spent the last two hours getting here?"”

I appreciate what the author was trying to accomplish but was left feeling like my copy was missing the last couple of chapters. Another instance when I wish we could give 1/2 stars. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it, I am just left feeling conflicted. Better editing could have moved it from 2 1/2 to 3 stars.”

Follow along in the day to day life of Steven Cavelle, a local news reporter journalist as he tries to report the news from his first hand view. He gets a front seat to the killings thanks to his friend Miles, who is on the police force. However, Steven begins to wonder if he is closer to these murders than even he knows, as his nightly dreams of murder begin to haunt him, and he starts to question his own drunken black outs. The more he learns about these murders, the more they seem to be weaving themselves into his own life.”
