Probably this isn't my style. Although this is my first Rachel Gibson book, I probably reserve my verdict on her style for now.

I just find the conversations unnatural. The leading man is a bit rough and to me the leading character sounds like a sex-starved girl. Although I commend the writer for gambling on an edgy plot - I find it brave - I still find the story too predictable.

This book is great but the ending it's a bit off (for me) but overall it's not bad.

Very entertaining and the conflict is real and tough. Fiction without too many sugar...

Not Gibson's best book, but I did enjoy the story.

Rachel Gibson has done it again. Her hero is so sexy he scorches the pages and the heroine is a woman who knows what she wants--or does she?

The hero and heroine of this book have lots and lots of issues from their pasts, even though both of them would deny any such thing. She's come to this little central Idaho town to write a book, and the attraction between them is immediate, but the secrets she's keeping are real bombshells. I can't say a whole lot more without giving away spoilers, except that this is an excellent book with some real conflict. There's a lot of suspense, but it's the emotional kind, the “what will he/she do next?” kind. These two people were both changed by the same event, and the big question is whether they will move past it. Excellent read.

This is my first romance novel. I enjoyed it. Very quick read, and addictive. A nice no-brainer.
