The author left me a comment saying that I should try this book out and that he said he thought I would like it so I'm willing to try! Seems pretty darn cool to me!

Tyler is well known for having a knack for getting in trouble, and when his friend Kim goes missing he gets together a group of friends to try and find her. The police are on the case, however they always seem to be one step behind the kidnappers and the kids' help proves to be indispensable to track them down. When I was reading this book I couldn't put it down until I reached the end, the plot is well thought out and the author is great at using imagery in his descriptions. I would have liked to get to know the characters better and for Donuro to be explored more, it sounds like it has the potential of being an interesting place but it isn't mentioned much, it left me curious about it. This is the main reason I have given this book a rating of 3 and not 4 as I personally like some level of detail where relevant. I only wish that this book was longer and I am looking forward to the release of the sequel. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in young adult mystery novels. Kids on a Case “The case of the Ten Grand Kidnapping”

Overall, the idea behind the books theme is a great one and the story follows a good storyboard plot.
There is a tad bit of a disconnect with the age of the narrator, since it seems to gravitate from the voice of a teen, to an adult view, and back to the teen. There are also some typos, spelling and grammatical errors the editor should have scraped off. This can be a bit distracting, but the story carries you through the issues very well.
The story Kids on a Case The case of the Ten Grand Kidnapping is a wonderful book for any middle school aged kid who is into a good mystery; or anyone who’s looking for a good youth oriented read for that matter.
Tony Peters does a wonderful job of painting imagery while you follow a group of teens who is out to rescue one of their own.
The plot is believable to the target audience, and packs a huge dose of adventure and drama. If you happen to be looking for a good read for yourself or maybe the teenager who has taken too much to the TV or games, this tale will give a much deeper experience and is a must read for the hungry mind..
We will be anxiously waiting for more from this talented writer.
