A fire is raging as the backdrop to this story of Kat. She and her husband, Ezra, are trying to be normal but with little or no success. She has returned home near Kelowna to try and help her aging parents to evacuate their home. While going through some things she finds her grandmother's carpet bag and a clue that she has not known anything about from their past.
A good read! ”
