I thought Diamond Spur was a great read. I don't understand why people gave this book such bad reviews. Diana Palmer has realistic men, therefore it makes the stories believable. I highly recommend this book!

In Diamond Spur Diana Palmer has proven herself to be a master storyteller! The characters were so real, I felt as though I went through their problems right along with them. In fact, it made me cry at one point and it takes a lot to do that! I highly recommend this to any Palmer fans.

Not a good one by Diana Palmer...it really dissapointed me, and the worst part is that Diana Palmer is so repetitive in her stories. Ive read more than 40 books by her and about 35 of them are exactly the same.

Story as usual is about a young woman who is in love with an unattainable man almost double her age. Due to the man not wanting marriage because of his horrible childhood, the woman is bound to be miserable until the last 2 pages of the book.

Incredibly annoying characters in this book. Kate is one of the weakest female characters that Diana Palmer has portrayed, she attempts to have pride but it backfires on her all the time. Shes trying to be strong but just looks ridiculous.

Kate's mom is even a bad character. Shes mentioned only for a couple of chapters and only to say that shes glad Kate is in love with Jason so that she can finally have financial security. Some wishes for her daughter.

Jason is also one of the worst characters Palmer has made. Hes incredibly selfish and it makes you want to pull your hairs out with the whole "he loves her but he cant bend enough or else he'll break and give in"...he doesnt "give in" until the last chapter...pathetic.

I actually would have liked it a lot more if the story would have been about Jason's brother Gene and his wife Cherry, cute couple, seemed to have more of a personality than the main characters.

Jason's mom was pretty weak too, and how weird that she was about 50 and Diana described her as if she were about 80 years old. Didnt like that either.

Overall, not a good story if you want to try getting into Diana Palmer's books.

I thought this book was the best. It wasn't my 1st book written by diana palmer but still it was really good. I thought the hero was a strong, passionate person and i thought the heroine was very innocent in the beginnning but at the end turned very strong and became more mature. luved this book.
totally recommend it!!
